Lafayette students often need to petition for permission for a variety of reasons as noted below. The types of requests and links to the correct form are listed below.
Off Campus/Study Abroad – used after a student has been approved and accepted by a semester long off-campus program to ensure proper transfer of credit back to Lafayette. Details can be found at: http://registrar.lafayette.edu/additional-resources/transfer-credit/. Copies of the form are available online, in the Registrar’s or International & Off-Campus Education Offices. Requests require approval from the student’s academic advisor, the appropriate department head for the transfer course request and the International & Off-Campus Education Office.
Transfer Credit – used to approve courses taken during the summer or while on leave. Details can be found at: http://registrar.lafayette.edu/additional-resources/transfer-credit/. Copies of the form are available online or in the Registrar’s Office. Requests require approval from the student’s academic advisor and the appropriate department head for the transfer course request.
